Anthony Iglesias - Guitar and Vocals
Hailing from New York City, Anthony has been playing guitar for most of his life. In 1992, Anthony took his talents upstate to Rochester, New York , where he became a member of the band New Religion. New Religion received international acclaim during its 6 year tenure, releasing two albums and performing countless venues across the United States. New Religion disbanded in 1998, and Anthony focused on his career teaching guitar, while also lending a hand to fellow musicians in need of a unique guitar sound. During that time, Anthony laid down guitar tracks for several recording artists, including Richard IV, Krista Robusto and Foot Stool. Also during that time, Anthony discovered his love of the Dave Matthews Band sound. In 2000, Anthony retired from fifteen-years of teaching guitar and moved to Syracuse, New York - his current home base. In Syracuse, Anthony teamed up with Dean Keller, Joe Davoli and Chris Cornish to form One Sweet World. Inspired by the music, Anthony continues to write his own original material and to play out with good musicians as often as possible.
Joe Davoli, Fiddle
Joe Davoli is a graduate of DePaul University and attended the Berklee School Of Music.He has studied with improvisational greats Matt Glaser, Darol Anger and John Blake. Joe is a consummate performer of several styles of music including bluegrass, Celtic, jazz, rock, classical and blues. He is a member of Delaney Brothers Bluegrass, for which he won a Syracuse Area Music Award for Best Bluegrass Instrumentalist/Vocalist in 2001. Also in 2001, Joe composed and recorded music for the off-Broadway revival of Israel Horovitz' "The Indian Wants The Bronx". In 2004 he served as musical supervisor for the short film "Brando From The Neck Down" in which its soundtrack features Joe playing both fiddle and mandolin. Joe is a member of the popular Irish show band, The Flyin' Column and performed with the Syracuse Pops Orchestra for over a decade. In demand as a studio musician and teacher, Joe lives in Syracuse, NY with his wife Darbie and three children Nicholas, Olivia and Joseph III.
Ian Rafalak, Bass
Originally from upstate NY, Ian Rafalak is currently working on a masters degree in jazz studies at The University of the Arts in center city Philadelphia. As he finishes his studies, he's quickly becoming a sought after bassist in the Philly scene and the entire northeast. Ian has studied with Gerald Veasley, Micah Jones, Kevin MacConnell, Steve Brown and Pablo Cohen. In addition to One Sweet World, Ian performs with ska/funk 10-piece Monkey Gone Mad, jazz octet Highbrid and live hip hop group Badi and the Groundbreakers.
Dean Keller, Saxophones & Flute
Dean Keller has been an active professional musician for nearly 15 years. He has traveled the world with The Glenn Miller Orchestra and aboard the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, The Grandeur of the Seas where he performed with many renowned artists such as Ben Vereen (with musical director Brian Scanlon) and Bowzer of Sha-Na-Na. Since returning home to Rochester, NY, Dean has free-lanced with many touring groups including Tito Puente, The Temptations, Bobby Vinton, Little Anthony & the Imperials and Frankie Valley. In addition to his work with One Sweet World, Dean currently records and performs with Prime Time Funk, The Dave Rivello Ensemble and in an original project with singer/songwriter Jeff Lewis.
Chris Cornish, Drums
Chris is one of the most sought after percussionists in Central New York. With over 20 years of playing and performing, Chris has succeeded in developing a strong following of drum enthusiasts.
